Many thanks to all the many folks who attended our Carol Evening on the 15th and our Nine Lessons and Carols on the 17th.
Our Christmas Eve Service will be shared with our friends at Living Word Episcopal Church meeting at St Andrew's Pioneer Church building, Mission Hill, Courtenay at 11pm Sunday 24th December 2006.
As many folks are away for the holidays we shall cancel our 31st December service and meet again January 7th at 9:30 am at Berwick, 1700 Comox Ave.

Hi David...good job on the new look for COOL.I like it, particularly the new header, banner or whatever you call it that contains the title. Moving the picture to the side has certainly opened up the blog for more news space. There is one typo in the word January in the first article. My only suggestion for improvement is the use of a picture or two on occasions. e.g. It would have been great if we'd thought to include a picture from the great carol sing we had....one of your family with your elven ears, or one of a group of the residents singing away. I will try to help in that regard by taking my camera with me when special things happen. I also think that keeping the articles simple and easily understood also helps to communicate to people who we are and what we are trying to do with the Lord's help. After all, most of us, especially those like me, aren't great scholars, just ordinary folk looking for the Lord. I think you are doing a fine job with the blog and appreciate all your work on our behalf...Blessings...Martin
